Consulting & frontline workers

I work from a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive framework and strive to approach the work with curiosity, compassion and humility.

Consulting

I work with new and established non-profit and grassroots organizations in various capacities including the development of unconventional hiring practices, program design, and the implementation of creative operating practices. I provide training on different topics including self-care, vicarious trauma and counselling practices. Leadership coaching is frequently integrated into the work that I do in the non-profit sector.

See my CV for details.

Clinical consultation and frontline worker support

I provide clinical consultation to counsellors in private practice and to frontline workers in organizations serving youth and young parents. I also provide coaching and counselling to frontline workers who would like to work with me outside of the organizations that employ them.

My experience with frontline workers

I have particular experience supporting people who work on the frontlines of the social service sector.

Fourteen years ago, I started a network to support frontline workers around trauma and vicarious trauma. We held groups, did one-on-one support, and mapped the issues people were facing onto policy and advocacy activities.
